Commissioning Your Light Painting Project
Call Michael on our studio landline at 763-785-1177, or on his cell phone at 763-443-9474 (texting him is fine as well). If you’re near the Twin Cities area, we can also schedule a convenient time to meet at your light painting location to discuss your ideas.
Otherwise, if you live out of town, a simple phone call can get the ball rolling. You can also message us from the Contact Us link above, and we'll get back to you asap.
If you have a special location in mind, it might be important to visit the site with you to determine the setup and the best time to do the photography. Many times, we do that earlier on the actual day of the photography.
The Creation Fee is due once the actual photography date and time are scheduled.
The light painting photography itself usually takes anywhere from 3 to 4 hours, sometimes more. It all depends on the size of the featured subject(s) and the physical size of the location involved, since we light paint that too.
It is very important that you’re there for the photo shoot. We need your input to decide on the final location, subject positioning, and the final camera angle, before the light painting process begins. There's also a very good chance that you'll be assisting in other ways during the actual session too.
Your participation during the light painting session will give you a deep appreciation for the skills that went into the creation of your finished artwork. Our clients have told us over and over again that it was very cool to be a part of making it all happen!

A pretty light painted photograph of a mint 1973 Pontiac Firebird. This cool image was created at North Speed and Restoration in East Bethel, MN (they did the restoration of the car).
